Shipping policy

At Fornello we make sure your order is delivered quickly and neatly. Below you can read everything about our shipments within the Netherlands, Belgium and the rest of the EU.

📍 Shipping areas
We currently only deliver to:

• The Netherlands

• Belgium

• Other EU countries

• The United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland (outside the EU, see below)

🌍 Orders outside the EU
Ordering from the United Kingdom, Norway or Switzerland? On delivery you pay the carrier your country's VAT (United Kingdom about 20%, Norway about 25%, Switzerland about 8%), any import duties and customs clearance fees. These costs are not included in our price or in the shipping costs.

🚚 Shipping costs

• Free shipping on orders from €65 (Netherlands and Belgium)

• For orders under €65 a shipping rate of €6.95 applies in the Netherlands and Belgium

• Outside the Netherlands and Belgium we charge a fixed shipping rate per country, regardless of the order amount. You see the exact amount at checkout. For example: Germany €8.50, France €10.95, Austria €11.50, Spain €11.95, Italy €14.50.

⏱ Delivery times
Do you order on a working day before 17:00? Then your order will be shipped the same working day. In the Netherlands and Belgium you will have it delivered within 1 to 2 working days; in other EU countries within 2 to 5 working days, depending on the country.

Please note: we do not process orders on Saturdays. Sunday shipping may occasionally take place.

📦 Shipping partners
We ship our parcels via reliable carriers such as PostNL, DHL or DPD, depending on your location and the time of ordering.

🔎 Track & Trace
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will automatically receive an email with a track & trace code to follow your parcel.

📅 Pre-orders
For products that are on pre-order, the delivery time stated next to the product name in your order applies.
There you will always find the exact time frame in which your pre-order will be delivered.

🧪 Sourdough Starter
The Sourdough Starter has a longer delivery time, because it is cultivated fresh for you.
We try to ship all orders from the previous week every Monday.
Because it involves a natural fermentation process, it can sometimes take a little longer.
This way you can be sure that you always receive the best and most active starter.

❗ Delayed or damaged shipment?
We do everything we can to deliver your order on time. Is your order:

• Not arrived within 3 working days?

• Delivered damaged?

Then contact us immediately via support@fornello.eu. We will then arrange a replacement or refund free of charge.

📬 Delivery addresses
By default we deliver to home addresses. Delivery to a pick-up point is possible, provided it is available with the carrier and shown during checkout.
